He will use this to come down hard on and purge all those he suspects may oppose him, assume even more dictatorial powers for himself, and drag Turkey back into a non-democratic state where human rights abuses become the order of the day.

Another sad example of a ‘democratically’ elected individual abusing of that democracy to indulge in demagoguery.

Erdogan may be an ally of the US and NATO, but he is a dictator in the making and yet another megalomanic with world domination in mind.
