No, Kev, what Nigel Farage did was to show a photo that pandered to people’s fears and prejudices and your apologia for the use of that photo confirms this.

There is a huge difference between addressing people’s concerns about immigration in a rational and reasonable manner and using a photo that accentuates racial prejudice for political propaganda.

Do you really believe that UKIP propaganda – that it is anti-Establishment and that it is for the ordinary people (did Farage borrow that from Hitler’s ‘Volk’)? How can you say so when it would be in the interests of the Establishment that you describe to blame all society’s problems on immigration? This is what UKIP is doing: rather than focusing on the real causes of the problems people are facing it blames immigration and pretends to be anti-Establishment.

I have taken the time to watch the video at the conclusion of the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum on June 17th, when Putin left no one in any doubt that the world is headed down a course which could lead to nuclear war.

Moreover, I decided to read a few more of the articles at Russia-Insider.com and undertook a trawl through the comment boards. Here’s a flavour of what I came across:

It’s the subtext and the way you present those facts which convey your racist views, not the facts themselves.

No, Newman, what Nigel Farage did was to show a real photo depicting a real event with huge logistical, social, economic and political consequences for EU citizens: a kilometers-long, 10-meter wide line of male migrants from as far as Pakistan and Afghanistan being ushered into the EU following the orchestrated efforts of the Turkish government in collusion with Soros & Co., all with EU consent, aimed solely and purposely at further destabilising EU nation-states for their known nefarious aims. (I know this is steep for you lot, because I know your viewpoint inside-out, having lived through it and still following the official narrative myself, but these are known, proven facts so I have to mention them without further elaboration).

For President Erdogan’s efforts in dumping over 1.5 million migrants across the Bosphorus, the EU is rewarding Turkey with six billion euros, which is an extra-budgetary amount that will have to be directly forked out by the member states (it should cost Malta around 5-10 million euros – but have we heard anything about this?).

Above these six billion, Erdogan gets EU visa-free access for Turkey’s 80 million citizens (before acquiring actual membership, which was delayed again and again due to opposition by people you call ‘fascists’, ‘extremists’ and ‘racists’ – which is what the corporate media instructed you to call them.)

This is the same president who’s committing genocide against the Kurds, and assisting ISIS and other criminal mercenaries against Syria’s decent president, Bashir Assad, not least by buying the oil they’re pillaging from Syria and supplying them with weapons. All the while, his regime is arresting and disappearing investigative journalists who expose these criminal actions. This was all reported by the mainstream media and has long been confirmed, even if the local rags reported nothing through their usual Reuters and AP feeders.

The Establishment is made up of those who are knowingly or unknowingly complicit in this state of affairs, such as career politicians, the presstitutes serving the corporate media, the global corporate cartel contributing to our laws, the supranational institutions, foundations, top-funded think tanks, EU-funded universities, the military… And then there’s the hidden part, the one you think does not exist: the powerful elite and their secret societies, the rogue intelligence network… and in all of this there is you, tacitly supporting them, exposing an indoctrinated mind-set that is ill-informed to the point of not knowing exactly what is meant by ‘the Establishment’, traditionally written with a capital ‘E’ (and I don’t know why I still bother to do so myself).

So I’ll stop here as I’m sure you’ll be needing a nappy change soon.
