Journalists prefer to cut to the chase rather than debating for the hell of it. So answer this: why do you want the UK to pull out of the EU? Do you also want Malta to pull out of the EU? If so, why? What did you like so much about Malta outside the EU and how was it better than life now?

Next set of cutting-to-the-chase questions: what are your problems with cooperating with others? Why do you love borders and barriers? How do you manage your personal relationships - through control, borders and barriers and 'sovereignty', or by cooperation for the greater good?

There is more in that vein, but quite frankly, I couldn't be bothered. I've lived long enough to know that there are so many weirdos around that they are not, technically, weirdos at all. You just learn to avoid them in life and work, and unfortunately, because they feel avoided, they come out of the woodwork flexing their ballot sheet for vengeance every time they're given the chance to vote.

I like particularly point 9 - with its factual exposure in pounds, shillings and pence, of Britain's benefits as an E.U. member state.

Was any of that expounded and explained loudly enough by the 'Remain' camp? I don't think it was - and if it was it certainly did not manage to override the 'take back control' of the Brexiteers.

I dread to think, furthermore, how and to what extent Cameron's successor can foretell any tangible 'success' in the exiting negotiations - in view of what Kinsman refers to in point 17.
