Eurosceptic British politicians have always been the most ardent supporters of Turkish membership of the EU. It’s not because they love the Turks (they consider them wogs), but because they think that would eventually destroy the European Union from within.

No, that hair colour is genetic. His father had the same kind of hair. It just wouldn’t survive into one’s 50s, that’s all. Also, many Turkish people are blond/e. Those in my year at school certainly were.
