Her eerie resemblance to Nazi women guards reminded me of an epic British film (semi-historical and semi-fiction, or so they say) called ‘The Eagle Has Landed’.

I too have been disappointed by May. Initially, being the only Bremainer in the running, I thought she would have been the best candidate for bridging the gap between remainers and leavers in the country, and for being an EU-friendly face at the post-Brexit negotiating table.

Now she comes up with stuff even the ghastly right-wing Brexiters do not dare come up with, earning even the opportunistic condemnation of Leadsom and Farage themselves.

Is she trying to overcompensate for her pre-Brexit beliefs? She would probably still make a better PM than the awful Leadsom, but at this point there is not a single horse I would rather to put my money on.

Angela Eagle’s description fits her to a tee. Can’t imagine the British flocking to vote for her.

Theresa May might be capable enough but her lack of strong principles hardly inspires confidence.

Leadsom is the probably the nastiest of them all, notwithstanding the camouflage.

The Liberal Democrats had better bring back Nick Clegg and campaign vigorously to overturn the referendum’s results. They will never have a better chance to resuscitate their party.
