I highly doubt that 80% of the British population don’t know who Hawking is. He’s the most famous living scientist, and his electronic voice is known the world over. You’re underestimating people.

But yes, it is hard to convince an idiot that he is an idiot, and it is hard to convince the more stupid Leavers that they are wrong. The more enlightened ones now regret what they did.

Any chance that they could add a paragraph to this page. It would be useful to also have a cooling off period for referenda held on the basis of a dishonest selling campaign.
