A call for applications for such a high post shows that Joseph Muscat could not care less about the criticism that he is facing on the blatant policy of cronyism that he is following.

Either he is convinced that there are enough voters with the same values (I am not sure that this is the right word) that he has, and his re-election is assured, or he is making as much hay as he can while the sun shines.

Given the myriad of scandals emanating these last three years from this ‘best in Europe’ government and their ‘state of the art’ public services, there’s no bloody hope of a CEO being appointed with the relevant skills, knowledge or a remote desire to establish anything at all to do with compliance, let alone corporate transparency issues.

The Curriculum Vita (sic) bit gives it all away. The whole farce was formulated by the subliterate elves at Cashtill.
The requirements are so demanding that it could only be a taghna lkoller who would qualify.

The strong academic background bit excludes that corrupt moron Gaffarena, although with his experience in the field he would probably make a brilliant CEO in the circumstances.

Maybe he should apply. You never know.
