					<description><![CDATA[George Vella justifies the sale of Maltese passports by arguing that the passport system is already being abused through marriages of convenience.  This argument is so flawed.  

If people are abusing this to gain citizenship, then the system should be tightened to make it more difficult to get citizenship through marriage.  Labour is doing the opposite.  

Labour&#039;s approach is that if people are getting passports through abuse, then might as well let other people get a passport, but against payment.  It is like saying that some people cheat in exams.  So let&#039;s make it fair and let everybody cheat.]]></description>
