And there I was thinking that if the contracted employee decides to leave before his or her contracted ended it was their obligation to pay any penalties. So is this a case of Anton being pushed? Or is he being thanked for conveniently moving aside. Another Joseph Cuschieri, but a lot less foolish and with an early Christmas present from the public purse.

The horrors of the 1970s and 1980s happened precisely because people behaved as you describe, but then it actually was dangerous.

It’s not dangerous now, not in that way. A bit of harassment at work is hardly the same thing as being dragged to the police lock-up and not knowing how you were going to emerge, or if you were going to emerge at all.

Grow up, the lot of you. Look what I’ve had to put up with for years, and I’m still standing.
