On one hand they brag about introducing the Whistleblower Act. On the other, they do their best to punish anyone who blows the whistle on the government or its cronies. The Act seems to apply only if the whistle is blown on the opposition. Hypocrites.

However Muscat made big promises that this new Labour movement had a roadmap of justice, meritocracy etc. Now that the cards are down, Muscat had a roadmap of get rich quick scheme with his cronies.

Daphne, I am so worried that they will use their power to sabotage the next elections in more ways than one to work in their favour. And I’m not just talking about handing out freebies and jobs months/days before the election.

With all the corruption spilling out from the very top of the government what do you expect ? Others want their share of the pie too and if they know they can get away with it they will go for it.

This is why corruption harms EVERYONE and concerns EVERYONE and not just those directly involved or effected by it.

It is very easy to lose respect for the law if the example being set is that you can do what you like and get away with it. What happened to Konrad Mizzi’s investigation by a “reputable international firm”into his financial affairs ? What a joke.

The Labour Party and anyone closely affiliated with it are immune from any or at worst any serious investigations. If you are in the good books of Joseph Muscat, Konrad Mizzi, Brian Tonna or Keith Schembri you can pretty much get away with murder. This is not an assumption, this is FACT.
