In reply to Joe the Lion. So let me see. This dodgy type was with hiding under the radar in Dubai for some years. John Dalli goes regularly to Dubai for business, ostensibly (Dubai is hardly a holiday city like Paris or London). Something tells me he was taking some subsistence allowance for the guy to enable him to live there failing which he would have spilled the beans otherwise? Conjecture but plausible enough.

People do not really care what Franco Debono does for a living. People get worried when a Law Commissioner defends filthy rich criminals.

People get worried when a Law Commissioner turns a prison sentence in a presidential pardon after a private discussion with the magistrate and a phone call to the president of the republic.
