Neville Gafa’ absolved. This has really become Erdogan territory. I hope The Times have more concrete proof so that this scandal will not stop here.

I think that criticism should be directed at the police for dragging their feet in investigating criminal allegations with the vigour that is expected from a force paid from public funds to protect the public from those who harm it, irrespective of their political allegiance.

In reply to Daphne Caruana Galizia. In fact Dr Busuttil (& the PN) have already taken prompt and proper action in proposing such reforms, even in Parliament itself. Most of these reforms can be found in the 'Good Governance Proposals'.

It’s a small step from selling passports to selling medical visas. The latter may be illegal while the former is legal but the moral message is that everything is a commodity that can be bought and sold.

The Malta Labour Party should be re-named Malta Looters Party.

When in government they are unable to create innovative, productive and competitive employment in the private sector. All they are capable of is fleecing the honest citizen, looting and lining their pockets through deceit, crime and fraud.

I’m saying something else entirely: that governments in the democratic world MAY NOT promise due process of anything that properly belongs to the realm of the police or the courts.

The most they can pledge is police/courts of justice reform (for the better).

Is it possible that all this corruption is not stopped knowing that the Labour Party will win next general election by hook or by crook? Is something being cooked up with all these visas being issued to the wrong people?
