You can see it was written in a panic as it first states that the call is aimed at previously certified cabin crew and then it says experience as cabin crew is an asset.

It’s either one or the other, or does Air Malta plan to train newbies in three days? That should ring a few alarm bells at EASA Headquarters. Transport Malta won’t bat an eyelid.

There is something I cannot understand about this agreement with Alitalia. The government keeps assuring us that it will “retain control” of this new airline because Alitalia will have less than half the shares.

Well, if the government is “retaining control”, how come the business plan has been drawn up by Alitalia? How come Alitalia gets to decide which routes to keep and which to drop?
