Agreed except, in proportion, Labour should lose the 2018 general elections by 100,000 votes. But of course this won’t happen because many Labour supporters reason that ” if the PN were corrupt then why can’t my Labour idols do the same?”

Oh… there is no “if” about the corruption in the PN. It certainly was there.

After the last two election cycles a third party is the only solution. Both sets of supporters can look at the last ten years and make plenty of good argument why the other party should not be in government.

The only way to get out of this situation is not to have a two-party system where you know that at some point you’ll win and get into power.

There is a reason why both PN and Labour do not want to decease the threshold for any third party to get a member in parliament.

Districts do not work. They were set up to give the major parties strongholds. When it comes to smaller parties we need the national vote. If they get more than 2% of the votes they should be represented.

I’ll be blunt. Your reasoning is rubbish because it is based on a false premise: that the creation of an alliance to boot out Labour is somehow comparable to what Muscat did.

The Labour Party’s ‘movement’ was created under false pretences and the pretext for it was malicious: fooling as many people as possible into putting Muscat, Konrad Mizzi and Keith Schembri into government so that they could spend five years thieving.

An alliance against Labour is, contrary to this, the only decent and proper thing and entirely justified because three thieves are at the helm.

I’m going to use capital letters as it clearly has not sunk in yet: NO. YOU SHOULD NOT VOTE NO. 1 FOR THE NATIONALIST PARTY AND THEN CONTINUE ON THE SMALL PARTIES.

YOU SHOULD VOTE AT LEAST 1 TO 10 FOR THE NATIONALIST PARTY.
