At university, Alfred Grixti was always a blabbermouth, noisy, an empty vessel and brainwashed with extreme left ideology.

I am not the least surprised at his comments as that is his typical reasoning and way of living. Despite his pride in having obtained a “diploma from Oxford” he has remained tunnel-visioned and now, in his late 50s , he still has not learned anything about this world.

Had the Nationalist Party followed his credo, Grixti would still be an English teacher at a state school. But he was twice promoted by Nationalist governments.

I do not expect anything better from him, who worked for the Malta Labour Party with Dennis Sammut, Michael Falzon and also the current President of the Republic of Malta, Marie Louise Coleiro (Preca).

Your generally appalling behaviour, your coarse manner and vulgar way of speaking, your lack of professionalism and your hopeless inability to understand the obligations and dignity of public office – as opposed to merely enjoying its perks – mean that nothing you say can ever discredit Vanni Bonello. Your criticism is flattery. Your praise and admiration discredit the object of your sycophancy.

Grixti was a moron 50 years ago, to those who knew him then.

The fact that he is still a moron 50 years later proves Galileo’s and Einstein’s great theory: once a moron always a moron ( min jitwieled tond ma’ jmutx kwadru).

What on earth can you do about it but despair and call him a moron?

What sort of an educator can he be if he promotes the doctrine of “an eye for an eye”, literally or figuratively?
