Labour played dirty tricks with Louis Galea and Tonio Borg when they were nominated by the Nationalist government.

However, they did not do that sort of thing with John Dalli. Suddenly, Labour forgot about “Ħu Bastjan”, and after a short while Dalli started claiming that he was a prisoner in Brussels. By that time Dalli was already in Labour’s pocket.

I watched a documentary called “The Propaganda War” which is all about North Korea. I highly recommend it. It really does show you how people can be blocked off from reality, how they can delude themselves so much, and how an ever present ‘menace’ can fuel this delusion.
