My use of “their” is attached to Labour narrative/ Glenn Beddingfield/ Muscat, not to Catholics. I apologise for any lack of clarity.

The loudest critic of any Catholic “false notion of pépé” is our present Pope with his clear message worldwide and that does not skip the Malta diocese. That criticism is honest and well-intended. The same cannot be said of Maltse Labourites, socialists, communists atheists etc.

A little learning, before doing so, wouldn’t hurt either.

The real focus of their attack are those they are unable to reach: those who can’t be bribed whether high or low on the social strata, and who see right through them.

Trust, not money value, is the new high, and they’ve wiped out all chance of getting there.

However, it’s not just the Archbishop they insult and denigrate. It is a daily occurrence that any news item or comment which is deemed as being critical of this labour government’s corrupt ministers or their incompetence, (of which justifiably there are many), brings forth a frenetic pace of activity from the usual labour trolls and supporters.

Unfortunately, most appear to have an aversion to rational debate. They either post a wild and confused diatribe of drivel on the subject matter being “discussed” in order to try and refute or deflect any perceived or deserved criticism; or when their lack of intelligence is validated by a particular comment, without fail, they resort to penning a barrage of verbal abuse and/or a character assassination against those who have had the temerity to point out the obvious lie or flaw(s) in their ‘arguments’.

I used to find some of the more bizarre comments amusing – but not now. Their constant lack of insight is quite frightening.

Except, that is , in the Mercieca/Cremona interlude, lasting almost 40 years, when there was no Knisja to talk about that could be blamed.

It was then a Chiesa del Silenzio which cannot really be possibly blamed for anything. Now, thanks to the timely intervention of the Holy See, things have changed.
