Am I to understand that franco debono is insinuating that the P.N. Government was more corrupt than Premier’s Joe government. If this is so one would be bound to ask whether Franco was so busy working for Premier Joey that he never heard of Gaffarena; Premier Cafe; Manuel Mallia’s driver shooting; 10 million for Australia Hall despite a Court Order not to be sold; Premier Joe stating that he has the same moral values as Cyrus Engerer who ‘sold’ his partner; Employment of thousands of “Malta Taghna Lkollers” ; Jobs for the Boys such as we have seen in Gozo when the Minister’s wife was given a job with her husband with a fantastic salary; and many many more corrupt cases which at this late hour 9.20 p.m. time slipped from my mind.

His candidature now is none of my business. I am out of the PN. What is of concern to me is the defamatory allegation he made in my regards, for which he was banned by the PN from contesting the last election.
I would like to take the opportunity to wish the best of luck also to PN canidates in the Fifth district, including newly approved BBugia councillor Stanley zammit

In reply to Daphne Caruana Galizia. Franco Debono is of that particular belief that one can only find one's true identity within a group. So much for reform. Without a given role carved in deceit the swagger would be no more. Not even that role was earned with merit. His puberty ritual consisted in using the dagger against a clan member for acceptance into a rival clan. That is as far as his mind stretches.
