The song which references “a flock of seagulls” was ‘Toiler on the Sea’ (LP – Black and White, side white, if I’m not mistaken.

FoS were typical 80s ie totally and instantly forgettable (unlike the Stranglers, as Mario quite rightly points out). In fact, most people have.
