All that was written two years back regarding the lucrative sale of citizenship scheme is now all the more clear. At the time, most of it could be branded and discarded as far-fetched, speculative, part of a smear campaign. But after the revelations of the Panama Papers, and the modus operandi of crooks exposed, everything seems to have fallen into place.

Apart from the obvious transfer of commissions and kickbacks from Henley & Partners to Muscat & Co, one also has to take into account the other millions pocketed by the front liners at Identity Malta. Who can quantify and trace the fast track extra charges, the remuneration towards owners of residences left vacant in order to be conveniently used as residences by citizenship applicants.

Who is pocketing the difference between what is collected as rent by multiple “residents” for the same address, and what is being paid to the owner? Time to reopen the discussion and collection of info of the ingenious scheme.

In January 2016, it was reported that Enemalta will be investing in Montenegro €80 million in a wind farm project. This should be taken into consideration with the Vitals investment.

Zarco Borovic cannot understand why a private company will manage the public health system, which is of the greatest social importance, and which despite turning over vast amounts of money, does not function on the profit principle but on that of solidarity. These matters can only be understood in the context of corrupt politicians and secret companies in Panama and BVI.

I wonder if John Dalli is in any way involved in this Vitals ‘business’. Nothing so far points at him but I couldn’t help thinking of him in a matter that involves both hospitals AND corruption. Probably it’s just me.

Shame on Albert Fenech for resigning from parliament and the Nationalist Party to accept the post he was offered at Vitals. His actions inevitably humiliated Simon Busuttil and made the Vitals project look exciting and legitimate.

On similar lines shame also on Ann Fenech and Francis Zammit Dimech for their inconsistency. Their participation in the passport-selling programme is another humiliation for the Nationalist Party. For them money clearly comes before pride and dignity.
