I invite everyone to go look at a video of the crime scene and please explain to me why the forensic crew is dressed head to toe in forensic gear and attentive not to trample on anything, and then everyone else is just trampling on everything.

And please do not tell me that the forensics were done, as good practice would have it that even after everything is tagged and photographed, no-one should go in before everything is carefully cataloged and removed.

There cannot be a risk that the crime scene is contaminated.

Take that last picture, change it to black and white, add some graininess, crop out the modern car and you will be ‘magically’ transported back to a typical scene from the Golden Years. I’m sure one of your technically minded readers could whip that up in no time at all.

The hands-in-pocket fatty one in the second picture certainly does not inspire confidence in the ‘keeping-fit’ courses supposed to be run by the Police corps. On the other hand, he certainly inspires confidence in the wife’s ‘get-fatter’ kitchen regime.
