You might have the origin of the creative idea behind this ‘original dress’ but the actual design was taken from the wrought iron works surrounding the terrace of the Harbour Club in Valletta in the junction of Telgha ta’ Liesse u Xatt il-Barriera.

They couldn’t resist adding that thing on her arms and torso even though they went for such a busy design on the rest of the dress, could they?

The horror of the dress does not fully balance the disgusting facial expression however. It seems nothing ever will.

Did you notice that the right side of the ‘ferro battuto’ design is placed lower than the left side? This has caused miss-matched lines at the waist, appliqué unevenly placed, crooked looking pleats and hem.
