Now if it was three “normal” people involved, they would have been named all over the media and arrested and detained by the police. Some people are born lucky.

The sisters of politicians and of other public figures remain private citizens unless they abuse of their connections. People are not stripped of their privacy because their brothers or sisters are in politics – especially not in terms of the emotional breakdown caused by their marital problems, and certainly not in terms of the marital problems themselves.

Yana Mintoff is a politician and a public figure in her own right, as well as being the daughter of one.

Ms Mintoff Bland is suing a slew of people on real-estate business, so given that she is as avaricious as her father and money-lender grandmother were, she won’t be going anywhere. They might ship her son out, though.
