Hope springs eternal, but I wouldn’t hold my breath if I were you. Simon Busuttil still can’t seem to distance himself from that post-election “he’s-nice-but-unelectable” epithet.

So many people I speak to still seem to have that impression of him. Now whether that will stop them voting against the present government in 2 years time is a matter of waiting and seeing.

I have that same feeling. The Prime Minister is starting to crack and no, it’s not just the stress lines between his brows that gives it away. It’s his running away from journalists and sneaking out of back doors that gives it away.

Do remember that this guy was beaming with confidence and was able to keep a super-straight face and look totally relaxed whilst lying his arse off. Seems he is losing his magic touch.

It’s only a matter of time. He can’t keep defending Konrad Mizzi and he can’t keep pretending that Mizzi’s accounts are being audited.

It’s up to the Opposition and anyone else of good will to convince those who are still unsure that corruption DOES affect them and will eventually affect them both directly and personally.
