I don’t think that a shrinking majority weighs heavily on their minds. Their international friends can give them all the tips they need to rig elections.

They, and the corrupt businessmen who back them, have too much to lose. They’re not going to allow anything as fickle as a free electoral decision stand in the way of their road to riches.
