In reply to NoOneSpecific. The island's economy thrives partly because of migrant labour. Nobody 'pays for them'. They work for their living, which is more than can be said for the majority of Maltese women.

So, then, here’s the short of it. Why should a small island nation with a thriving culture and economy be forced to accept and pay for immigrants who will not ultimately conform to the existing culture standards and add nothing of value to the culture?
