If the master is telling the voice to attack HSBC, then there is something else going on, which we don’t know about.

It doesn’t make sense to attack HSBC on the basis of Keith Schembri’s bank statement. Something else is wrong. The question is: what?

They are like raging bulls in a china shop. When we know that Muscat and Mizzi do not want us to accept that the Panama Papers caught Schembri and Mizzi with both their hands in the cookie jars, the only option left for them was to cast doubts on HSBC (Malta) for the uncovering of Schembri’s “inoperable tumour” which was being kept secret from everyone else.

BTW: As a small investor/shareholder in HSBC (Malta) I urge other HSBC (Malta) investors like me to take note of the harm these senseless political animals intend to do, to the good reputation OUR bank has in a competitive market.

If they persist, I recommend that OUR bank reviews the terms of the €150,000,000 loan it gave to Electrogas. I’m sure they can find a good excuse and clutch at some fine legal point in the 150,000 pages of documents on the LNG power station which were published lately.

US banks are closing their dealings with Maltese banks. That would leave just HSBC as the only Maltese bank which could make transactions in dollar currency through its international structure. The PM’s aides are now trying to scare away HSBC – sheer irresponsibility.
