Malta imports aggregate from Albania and Montenegro, for road construction and concrete.

This seems to be a rather recent business development. Not sure why these two countries are supplying our burgeoning construction industry. Is their uncrushed aggregate really superior to that of EU countries? Does it have the detailed certification typical of EU aggregate?

Mousu was surprised and dazed by the unexpected call – and still less expected questions – from David Thake.

He may have thought it was all over at the end of that call and that he could wipe the abundance of perspiration off his forehead as soon as David thanked him for his time and attention.

Obviously he never expected Daphne to assault his (perhaps) regained peace of mind – or was it not that way – so soon after. He felt cornered and almost suffocated by her grasping him at the throat so tightly with her questions. I would not rule out his trying to bully his way out of them.

Sleepless nights will be with him for a long time, now.
