They signed with Partners Healthcare International after being awarded the contract, and what they signed is a one-year consultancy agreement.

Partners Healthcare will not run the show.

And at the end of this all, what was the rational behind this deal?

It would help you with your arguments if you started off from the understanding that different stances are required when you’re not posting on some uninformed person’s Facebook Timeline.

If Partners Healthcare International is fit and proper to run three public hospitals in Malta, then the government should have given the contract to Partners Healthcare, and not to a start-up run by a couple of shysters who then have to bring in Partners Healthcare to save their backsides.

It is worse than a start-up. It’s a sham. Often a start-up will have a decent website; not so in the case of Oxley Capital: http://www.oxleycapital.com/

1. Oxley Group’s corporate profile is dated March 2011.

2. The last press release in the media section is from 2010.

3. There are no details whatsoever that may identify shareholders.

4. There are no details of management personnel or senior executives.

5. There are no details of the financial standing of this group.

6. The section on ‘Strategic Partners’ lists Bluestone Group Malaysia, a specialist in real estate. The link to the corporate website of Bluestone Group Malaysia does not work.

So much for the good standing of this ‘group’ which today controls a sizable chunk of Malta’s healthcare capabilities.
