And when on the subject of education, the permanent secretary (Joseph Caruana) should refrain from holding meetings with teachers when they should be in class (because they have lessons), even if it’s just evening classes for adults. Though I must say I’m not surprised with Mr Caruana getting his priorities mixed up, riding on this bandwagon.

Probably the reason why you never thought of him as a Labour shark is because of him following Karl Marx’s doctrine as a young man.

However I never understood how he was considered ‘moderate’and ‘decent’.

His slimy behaviour always reminds me of Uriah Heep, but instead of faking humility he fakes righteousness.

Also let’s not forget how after he gave the impression that he did not condone Konrad Mizzi’s behaviour (re Panama Papers scandal) he voted for him in parliament a few months ago.

So now we know that apart from being a lying hypocrite he is also corrupt.
