					<description><![CDATA[I would like to point out that Mistral Air is IOSA certified . A certification issued by IATA (International Airlines Transport Association) and is attained only after a rigorious international audit process. 

The company is fully owned by Poste Italiane Group which employs 145,000 staff with a turnover of €30 billion and an operating margin of €1.4 billion.  Safety is definitely not an issue.

In 2016 our airline operated long term wet lease operations for Alitalia, Air Berlin and Meridiana.   The airline operates a particular aircraft, Boeing 737-300QC which can be converted from passenger to cargo in less than 60 minutes.  This aircraft is commonly used by postal airlines around the world (eg. Europe Airpost France, Jet2 UK average age 28.5 years). 

Unfortunately the manufacturer has not projected the same model on the new generation Boeing and therefore only B737-300 Classics can be converted.  

Mistral Air&#039;s EIFGX is by comparison the &quot;youngest&quot; B737-300QC on the market.  I expect that Air Malta will reply regarding the &quot;alleged scandal&quot; that Air Malta chose to reprotect &quot;otherwise stranded&quot; passengers using a third party carrier, which is standard industry practice. 

Finally, I will ignore the stupid comment above assuming it was a simple oversight.  I am proud to be ex-Air Malta and can only thank the airline for all the experience and knowledge. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas.]]></description>
