Shouldn’t this one be answering questions about his Dubai binge rather than lying in parliament where he is sheltered by the Speaker ‘Paradox’ Farrugia?

I am sorry to repeat the question again, but I was given no answer yet. What will happen now following the report about taxpayer-sponsored binges? Does it just stop there? And given the inquiries concerned only a random sample and that there is clearly a ‘red alert’, is the rest going to be investigated? Accountability?

In reply to Bohemian. Compulsory breathalysers and drug tests by independent labs for all members of parliament, I say. Ordinary people may not drink and drive and get stopped in roadblocks, but they drink, powder their noses and drive the country into a wall, and that's fine.

Well, they have been taught to think that way. Just look at the reasoning of having an energy minister who is not the Energy Minister.

Then there’s the “clean air” energy which comes from the LNG plant but not out of the “dirty” interconnector and which is “cheaper” but double the price of the latter.

Then the forgotten gas-pipeline which is now being talked about, after four years and after signing up for a tanker in the bay for the next 18 years which is “temporary”. The list is endless in this post-truth period. You can feed them garbage and tell them it’s caviar on toast.
