Isn’t this Schembri the same one who at the very beginning of this regime intimidated a policeman trying to do his duty by asking him “Don’t you know who I am?” implying that he was some exception and above the law? If so, no one should complain that since then it has been made abundantly clear who and what he is. He is just another mortal like all the rest of us and liable to suffer the same physical afflictions.

I’d never doubt Daphne for a moment. Now the reason why, that’s another question. I personally know two or three people who are so proud that they wouldn’t want anyone to know that they had a cold (let alone cancer) ‘biex ma jpaxxux lil min jixtiqilhom id-deni’, and Schembri might be one of these.

I doubt Schembri is so petty, though one never knows.

Daphne’s theory that the PL triumvirate needs to hide this information from somebody, person or entity, who’s not based in Malta makes much more sense.

Dr Muscat’s statement today is a little bit worrying. If he knew, and I’m sure he did, why is he denying that his chief of staff is ill?

How can he look into the camera and lie to the public while asking for an apology from ‘whoever’ is saying that Keith Schembri is ill?
