Doctors were exempt right at the start of the VAT law in 1995. They are an exception. Everybody else is required to issue a VAT receipt even if they are exempt from charging VAT or their services are not subject to VAT. Vets, for example, have to issue a receipt.

Yes, I know – amazing, isn’t it. Anyone would think I was the size of Helena Dalli or Deborah Schembri or Glenn Bedingfield. I think he still hasn’t come to terms with the fact that I’m in my 50s. They’ve been screaming and shouting about me for almost three decades and have become fossilised in time. He still expects to see the size 6 daddy-long-legs 30-year-old he used to fantasise about, and is shocked to find I’m not. Miskin.

I admire you a hell of a lot Daphne. I always said this. I really am worried about your safety. Partly for a selfish reason! If we lose you there is nobody in Malta who is as brave as you. I cannot imagine all those years being alert for your family’s and your safety.

We would never know the truth about who are the crooks running the country and what they are doing. It would really be a free for all. Not even the European Commission would know – though they are doing f*ck all and even hosting Minister Kontract Mizzi.

No wonder that in the eyes of EU nationals the EU is irrelevant. Maybe they are corrupt too.

Your postscript comment made me think of a Labour minister who should be examined, and that is Owen Bonnici. For some reason he forms part of the ínner circle’ but one wonders why. Is there something we’re missing?
