I’m not jumping to Mixell’s defence but that law is sort of unfair. Say parents want to go on holiday and have nobody to leave the children with, what are they supposed to do, not go abroad because of school ? Bugger that, I would just go abroad anyway and pay the stupid fine.

My son goes to a church school (St.Francis, Msida)and tomorrow they don’t have school. Maybe it’s the same for her children’s school, because if not, then where they go to school, the law does not apply for everyone.
