Corporations, authorities, directorates etc are useful shields to hide behind, nothing more. And of course money-makers for some people of trust.

Declaring investment projects way before negotiations are completed with Malta Enterprise has happened on more than one occasion in this legislature leaving all the cards stacked in the “investor’s” favour.

Same like asking the Environment and Resources Authority to decide on granting a permit to operate an unnecessary power station AFTER it was built.

Or announcing the American University of Malta and then have the the National Commission for Higher Education to decide on its accreditation.
