No. That’s not how it works. You don’t get the charge sheet through random lawyers. You get the charge sheet through the defence counsel, who obviously has it.

Charge sheets are NOT published. They are served on the individual and submitted to the court, where they may be obtained by journalists from lawyers.

The Data Protection Act has NOTHING to do with documents in court proceedings. When you are charged in court for whatever reason, your name, ID number and even your parents’ names will be down on the documents.

Documents pertaining to criminal proceedings are NOT available for public perusal. You can’t even look at them, let alone buy a copy.

I am not that competent to discuss legal jargon but what’s sure it was a faked hijack for reasons still unknown but definitely a fabrication.

On a lighter note, has the composition of official reports, contracts, agreements and now police charge sheets changed under the Taghna Lkoll definition with multiple pages BLANKED OUT. So why bother publish them in the first place. BANANA REPUBLIC in the EU.

I don’t think you fully understand. The Data Protection Act has absolutely nothing to do with it. The names of the pilot, co-pilot, cabin crew and passengers are on the charge sheet because they are the VICTIMS against whom the crime has been committed. The names of the victims of crimes are ALWAYS listed on the charge sheet and can be published unless the defence/prosecution specifically requests a ban on publication, which only the court can grant and for which it must give a full justification. The news reports of the arraignment give no indication that there was any such request.
