Surely you don’t want to live in a country where the government instructs the police to act against people? That is the same thing as what we are protesting against now: that the government instructs the police NOT to take action against people.

Good governments strengthen the police force and make sure the Commissioner of Police and other senior officers have integrity and are free to pursue investigations with autonomy and unhindered by politicians.

This is what happens in civilised democratic countries. So far we have had no concrete pledge that the Busuttil government will take action and bring all to face justice.
