Exactly – and that’s why they dumped the off-loading of Air Malta on ED ZL. Had there been a corrupt profit to be made, it would have been handled by Projects Malta and Konrad Mizzi.

Viva Wistin Abela who had launched Air Malta with a big noose round its neck and rendered the thousand plus mainly Zejtuni employees unsustainable.

Viva also ED ZL, with the blessing of his Godfather and friend, who permitted the employment of around 300 persons at a time when Air Malta was restructuring and getting there.

The GWU will however be the main beneficiary, as it will have a large number of employees being made redundant for whom it will receive an agency fee to relocate.

In reply to pete ross. ED ZL has never been trusted with one of the juicy and lucrative portfolios. Those were reserved for the inner circle, who can hold, or can be held, to ransom by Lord Egrant. Mr Bagollu was given a poisoned chalice by a bitch who posing as a friend.
