Fear of what, exactly? The only people who knew about Muscat’s, Mizzi’s and Schembri’s Panama companies were the three of them, Karl Cini, Brian Tonna and the Mossack Fonseca functionaries in Panama. It’s not fear. It’s irritation.

Many people don’t really know what a company in Panama signifies. Daily I interact with people and (believe me) they don’t really know what this whole story is about.

I know they have often had it explained but it didn’t – actually can’t sink in. All the explanations rely on a basic understanding of how money goes around the world, what money-laundering is, and what secrecy of information in Panama means.

Say I have a secret company and a legitimate one, and the legit business shows a loss while the Panama company keeps getting fatter. How is that possible? I am no financial guru, yet the answer is very simple.

Yet many people say “dak bravu” – as if I am some genius (I can assure you that I am not).

How could the Opposition deliver this message ? I really don’t know….
