In reply to Ganni Muscat. Just imagine if Gomes's (a Socialist MEP) comments had been uttered by a member of the European People's Party. The Nationalist Party and the nationalist MEP's would have been accused of having lobbied against Malta.

MEPs are elected by citizens. The EU being a democracy cannot interfere with their choices. It is up to us to vote intelligently.

The problem is that he probably doesn’t understand embarrassment in the most literal sense due to his seemingly abnormal psychology. He’s too bloody calm about everything compared to Schembri and Muscat.

At this point, after more than a year since the Panama Papers, and with a few months to the general election, I cannot care less about whether Mizzi (and Schembri ) resign or not. He should have resigned over a year ago but in the meantime he kept on working on bad deals for us and enjoying commissions. Let the people kick him out.

In reply to Dave Smith. Too late. Valletta, European Capital of Culture 2018 has already been tarnished by association. Being tarnished also with nepotism doesn't help, given the appointment of a political activist and failed Labour election candidate as chairman.

It us up the young generation of Malta to stop looking through everything in political life through the prism of partisan politics. They can change this trend.

This is bigger than partisan politics. This about the integrity of a nation. The whole population is duty bound as patriots to call out corruption.

Malta is an incredible country soon to be the European Capital of Culture. It would be criminal for this celebration to be tarnished with a back drop of corruption. Stand up.
