Or, thinking in the same twisted way they do, holding on to it until the appropriate (read election) time and then “scooped” by Saviour Balzan so they will spin a “skandlu” of their own during the campaign. Hopefully someone manages to publish it before then.

If the EU were serious about sorting this out, it would implement a flat rate tax across Europe for the different classes and focus more on tax-credit based input synching with social responsibility.

It really doesn’t say much about the intelligence of these Nominee portfolio managers and especially about those “names” who first weave the loopholes into their design input for the law, and then simply glide around the slalom course straight through the same loopholes with the expected elegance.

Economies would benefit from restructured input based on real needs and innovations, on the national and / or the European and /or global platforms.

I am completely against nominee services and think Malta should outlaw the system. People only use nominees when they have something to hide or a reason to hide it.

Meanwhile, Simon Busuttil should start by banning Nationalist Party candidates and MPs from acting as nominees at all – FOR THE VERY SIMPLE REASON THAT THE PUBLIC HAS NO WAY OF KNOWING WHO THEY ARE NOMINEES FOR.
