What credibility does flaunting the fact that you lost a record amount of libel lawsuits despite claiming to have ‘verified’ your stories lend you, Saviour?

Certainly doesn’t speak to your standards of verification – they must be abysmal; or does it prove the legal system that is trashing DCG is unfair? If the latter is the case, are you writing in support of a fellow journalist or will it be the former and you are claiming to be incompetent?

Personal vindictiveness gains one nothing politically, but with a spillover effect such as this, it is ruinous. For me, this is what spells the end of Chris Cardona. Not FKK Acapulco. Not his weak denials. But this despotic act.

Thankfully, it should lead to an overhaul of libel laws.
