What a pathetic comment for a lawyer to make. What relevance has it to the lawyer’s own behaviour? Is this how he wants to convince his readers of his supposed not involvement in this story?

Hear, hear. What an abysmally bad example to give to one’s children to say nothing of the embarrassment he must be causing them.

On the eve of the election, there were promotional videos of his on One TV showing him driving his children to school and doing home work with them etc.

He should be made to resign and dispatched to rehab.

Playing Devil’s Advocate, could Gerada’s actions of taking down his Facebook page and not returning calls be explained by the fact that he knew the press had a story on his boss and he didn’t want to give them anything that might in any way help build their story?

That said, I think Gerada and Cardona are lying through their teeth for the simple reason they chose not to provide alibis explaining where they were on Monday night.

Any innocent party in such a situation would provide their alibi rather than leave a substantial majority of the Maltese public thinking they were guilty as sin.

Furthermore, if their alibis could prove that Daphne really was churning out “fake news”, they would jump at the chance of discrediting her.

This lawyer fool gives it all away without realising. So in his mind, his credibility is restored in that the guy who saw him there is a “frequent goer”.
