I do not expect a gay rights NGO to talk about hunting or biodiversity but they should certainly be concerned with the situation of immigrants, poverty, racism and human rights like freedom of speech. Many LGBTIQ persons are active in these fields, but on an individual basis, not as an association.

I really don’t think being LGBT is the issue here. As with any sizeable crowd of Maltese, the majority will accept the information they are fed and be happy with handouts. It’s the “Malta qatt ma rifjutat qamh” mentality.

While you’re posting flashback words from Muscat, we could do with a re-run of his promises to resign if his power station wasn’t up and running by May 2015, or whatever the date was.

That means what you’re getting is not the view of the LGBTIQ lobby, but the view of your archetypal self-centred and chauvinistic Maltese man who just so happens to be gay – and also childless, which means that he doesn’t have a perspective beyond himself.

There is a real division among Maltese people who are gay, and it is detectable: the gay men are for Joseph, but the gay women can’t stand his guts.

The point to remember at all times is that gay Maltese men are, fundamentally, Maltese men – and so they are essentially very backward chauvinists.

These people know no bounds in their indecency and obscenities. But one must ask WHY this government has been inconsistent throughout?

The corrupt lot does not give a damn on any issue so long as it draws them votes, looking for niches where trickle by trickle the jar gets full and will eventually give them back victory.

Many of the ignoramuses are not waivered by morality or what is right, but whats in it for them. This is the malady in our society, hence the populist movements. They are having it good everytime, no holds barred.

The Nationalist Party should not give them room to breathe. This corrupt rabble must be suffocated at all costs. We have to do it because nobody else will.

Just like today’s announcement that the government will invest 50 million euros in a social housing project which will be ready “by the end of the year”.

Fifty million euros spent to have something to show on their campaign billboards other than the gay-friendly Marriage Act. That’s social conscience for you.
