The US senate obviously thought otherwise.
Trump`s campaign team has had repeated, confirmed contacts with representatives of an enemy state which has meddled in the US elections, an unprecedented scandal which verges on the treasonable.

Foreign governments` payments to Trump`s businesses probably violates the US constitution.

And in view of a 1967 anti-nepotism law, the appointment of his son-in-law, Jared Kuchner as advisor is highly questionable.

More than enough reasons to start impeachment procedures.

I am sure there are many legislators who might wish to boot him out but they will have to have a good reason for doing so as the US is a democracy and Trump was elected by the people.

There are many people around the world who are as evil, crazy, prejudiced and full of hate as Hitler and Trump. The difference is that unlike Hitler and Trump, they do not have the power to do much about it beyond killing a few random innocent people in a terrorist attack, burning a few immigrants inside their hostels or trying to burn the home of uncomfortable journalists while they sleep.

Trump may not have had the skill, education, time, patience and inclination to write his Mein Kampf, but if one were to compile his various raves, rants and tweets the result would be almost as scary.

And I don’t need history lessons from someone who waxes lyrical about Trump`s “family values” and sunny fun-loving disposition.

I’m sorry, but exactly what do you think Hitler was like? No, really. He was somebody with Trump’s personality problems who had, in the 1930s, the sort of untrammelled power that no leader in the free world has now.

There is very little variation in human nature. It is only circumstances and laws which evolve.
