Oh but they’ll find a way. They’ll define journalism as surgery on the mind, as an activity that puts the client or patient at the mercy of the practitioner. So it requires a warrant. Then they’ll say that anyone without a warrant is a “citizen journalist”, whereas the real journalists are those with the warrant. Step two will be to ban mass publication (Facebook, my dears) by anyone without a warrant.

They can’t. At the risk of repeating myself, they can do nothing because their hands are tied by the Constitution and beyond that, the European Convention on Human Rights.
