The appropriate translation in Maltese would be “nies tal-qalba”.

These figures also help to reduce unemployment statistics and to boost GDP, two key figures which the Government continuously boasts about to prove how well the Economy is performing.

The Euro 11 million spent on revenue expenditure also contributes to the on going increase in government debt which has increased by Euro 950 million over the last 3 years.
I ask: “what is the involvement of the Chief Permanent Secretary in all this?
