He, too, did not know about the background of the new owner – in fact, he thinks that the old one still runs the place.

I have gone to Crystal Palace bar for a number of years, particularly for its excellent qassatat (even in frozen form, ready to be baked at home). I now have to do without even entering the place any more, and will seek Rabat pastizzi further up the same street into Rabat, or even beyond that area.
