If you had to take Kurt Farrugia’s comments at face value, then Daphne should not be obliged to register her website. There is no doubt whatsoever who is behind this website. However, that is not what the proposed law says.

This is reminiscent of the amendment to the Press Act by the other obnoxious Labour Prime Minister Mintoff in the ’70s to allow that other piece of shit, the then Director of Information, Toni Pellegrini, to take over the widely-read Roamer’s Column in the Sunday Times of Malta under the pretext of right of reply.

Cartoonist Maurice Tanti Burlo’, as Nalizpelra, had drawn an excellent cartoon showing Toni happily climbing the famous Roamer’s column to finally make it his own.
